Getting started
Who should I book with?
You can book with any of our therapists — but if you have an injury, or you don't know what's wrong, we recommend you start with Paul. Get the injury resolved and your treatment plan started, then continue with Tricia for maintenance for as long as you need to.
If you only need maintenance, the most effective sports massage you've ever had will be with Tricia — trained directly under Paul.
There's really no wrong way to start, but if you're injured or in pain you'll get a quicker resolution by seeing Paul first. Plan on multiple sessions for a complete resolution.
What to expect
Before, during & after
Step 01
Before you arrive
- Fill in the mandatory intake form + waiver online before your visit. Can't access it? Call or text the office.
- Bring a beach towel from home for the treatment table.
- Wear stretchy workout clothing — shorts and a sports bra work great. Treatments are fully clothed.
- A credit card on file is required to secure your appointment.
Step 02
At your appointment
- Wait on the bench or in your car until your therapist calls you in — texting them that you've arrived helps.
- Your therapist's number is in the confirmation email sent 24–48 hours ahead.
- Tell your therapist if you feel any pain so they can adjust to your comfort.
- We charge your card on file at the end — let us know first if you'd prefer cash or a different card.
Step 03
After you leave
- Drink plenty of water. If you were cupped, marks may show for a few days.
- Do your prescribed (Rx) movements — much of your success depends on the work you do at home.
- New pain elsewhere usually means there's more work to do; one hour can't realign the whole body.
- We recommend a minimum of 3 appointments spaced a couple of weeks apart.
The fine print
Policies & good to know
Cancellation policy
When you book, you agree to these terms. More than 48 hours out, you can reschedule by calling your therapist or the office (both numbers are in your confirmation email), or reschedule yourself at the same link you booked from.
Cancel within 24 hours and, if we can't re-book the slot, your account is charged a 50% loss-of-time fee. Less than 24 hours out, your card on file is charged the full appointment cost if we can't rebook it. This does not apply to sickness or emergencies.
Accepted payments
Your appointment is only secured with a credit card on file. We'll charge that card at the end of your appointment. If you prefer to pay cash or with a different card, please let us know before we close you out.
Confirmations & opt-in
You won't receive confirmation text messages unless you opt in when you book. If you don't receive a confirmation email, please call to confirm your appointment is in the system. You are responsible for showing up for your booked time.
Treating minors
If you're the parent of a minor being treated, you must accompany them and stay within sight at all times in our clinic. Confirmation emails will also come to your email. Please don't bring additional people or siblings to the appointment if at all possible.
COVID-19 update
If you are feeling unwell, please stay home. Masks are currently optional.
Medical disclaimer
It is your responsibility to tell your therapist if you're experiencing any pain so they can adjust to your level of comfort. We are not doctors, and a therapy treatment and conversation at our office should not be construed as a substitute for a medical examination.
